Stakeholder Newsletter Samples (2024-2025)
I managed and published our semi-annual community newsletters – “The Invenergy Connection” – which is mailed out to 18,000 stakeholders across the US. In the newsletter, we share stories that reflected a commitment to community impact – keeping our stakeholders informed of happenings and maintaining goodwill.

The Rich Coast Project
Together with a group of other media students, I traveled to Costa Rica over spring break to take part in a service learning experience. My work for "Stories from the Caribe Sur Chapter 2", contains several photos as well as help with interviews, and film. Our contributions to this project gave us rich cultural content that was able to be added to the South Caribe Roots Archive, a subset of the Rich Coast project. The Rich Coast Project aims to document the history and identity of the people of the south Caribbean of Costa Rica. A community project made so that their stories and experiences can be remembered throughout history as the area changes and develops.

Hopscotch Coffee
My summer before junior year, I worked on a photo story project for the IU Media School visual communications course. With words as well as visuals by me, I hoped to illustrate and draw attention to a new local coffee shop aided with a great story.

Culture of Care week
(April 9th - April 13th)
Culture of Care week is something that Culture of Care as an organization puts much effort into. Each day of culture of care week represents 1 out of 4 of our focus areas. Each day a committee would have tables with information and games spread across campus, then held a social event in the afternoon, and in the evening held a sort of panel, discussion, or Q&A .
As one of the marketing assistant's for Culture of Care I had to make time for each event to take photos for Instagram, and post statuses for both Twitter and Facebook. I had to be diligent and manage my time well so as to make sure I was there to capture the essence of each event. My goal for these events was to not only get others to attend but also show the progress that each of our events was making to positively impact the campus.

Modifications & improvements I would add if the app were to go to market

Rough App Prototype
In year 2 at IU I took a Social Media Research course, and I set out to make an application that would help improve health.
The app idea, aimed specifically toward youth, young adults, and those with mental health issues, was created to provide another accessible option to improve health right at the users fingertips.

Culture Shock Music Festival
In my last 3 years at Indiana, I participated in Culture Shock, an expansive music festival put on WIUX pure student radio that features several local and special visiting artists. Each year the festival is planned throughly as it garners a lot of press and attention not only from the school but also the community and surrounding communities. Each year as each festival approached, I would work in social media and PR committees to not only advertise leading up to the festival, but would then during the festival help run the various social media outlets, sharing anything from information on the artists and set times, to live footage of each artist and the other aspects of the festival. Local vendors, food trucks and more, as well as a variety of artists and genres made each festival unique and an exciting experience to be a part of.
